As a long-term, trusted partner, our team at Rightpoint was tasked with reimagining Grant Thornton’s annual report and how to tell the story of the year’s successes to their stakeholders and employees, digitally and in print.

Founded in Chicago in 1924, Grant Thornton is one of the world’s leading independent audit, tax, and advisory services organizations, with annual revenues in excess of $1.9 billion and more than 8,500 employees working across the US. 

Grant Thornton’s previous annual reports were static and linear. Our team was tasked with reimagining the company’s annual report and telling a success story to stakeholders and employees, digitally and in print, in a compelling new way.

To do this, we first used full-width, cinematic video and imagery and offered an exploratory way to navigate the site. Then we organized and oversaw a photoshoot at the Chicago HQ offices with Grant Thornton employees, to capture the vibrant work environment and bring authenticity to the report. 

Despite working with two very different mediums, we maintained continuity of content and style across the digital and print experiences.
